Local indie singer-songwriter commissioned me to make her ethereal dreams come to life.
Challenge
Most of the shirt designs I do are made to be screen printed, often with just one color. I do this both for aesthetic reasons and also because it’s more cost effective, so it’s often better for my clients. This brings up the challenge of altering images and illustrations while also keeping in mind the vision of the client.
The Process
Rhaina gave me examples of other band merch and designs that she enjoyed and I took elements from each of those to produce a few different options for her.
The Result
Though we went in with the intention of just doing one shirt design, Rhaina liked the two ideas I presented and went with both. These shirts helped generate more buzz on social media, and sold extremely well.
