Project Overview

The Love Store

The Love Store is an adult retailer based in Las Vegas that aims to create an elevated and fun boutique experience.

Challenge

The Love Store had a logo, but that was about it. I saw that they needed a comprehensive branding guide to keep their style consistent and clean. The major challenge came from social media guidelines that prohibited excessively lewd content, so we had to harness cheeky but tame imagery.

The Process

I took heavy inspiration from the interior design of their Arts District location, noting the warm pinks and reds, as well as the cheeky phrases they’d have throughout the store. I experimented with gradients and different font choices until I came up with something that felt just as inviting as that store felt. I wanted to lean away from the crass style that their competitors had, and focus more on a boutique experience that younger audiences would resonate with.

The Result

In my role at The Love Store, I quickly established a standardized brand guideline, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials. Within my first week, I had my design ideas implemented in-store, alongside photographing and filming content for social media posts and reels. My targeted marketing plan led to a 1,000 increase in followers, with a 15% boost in open rates for our email newsletters. By creating engaging, visually appealing content, I successfully attracted a younger demographic, which had previously been underrepresented, driving both online and in-store engagement and contributing to the brand’s growth.
