Personal
In my personal time I love to design and sell prints & stickers for fun! I’m often inspired by the music, movies, and books I’m loving at any given time. I’ve sold at market festivals, pop-ups, and online.
Challenge
I learn the most when I get to design passion projects with free reign. Though they might not lead anywhere, it helps challenge me to try new things. I’m able to assign myself design projects that I haven’t had the opportunity to try professionally yet, like book cover designs.
The Process
I’m constantly inspired by the media and art I consume, and it propels me to design new fun projects. I moodboard, experiment with Photoshop, Illustrator, mixed media, and more to refine my skills. I also learn the constraints of designing prints and stickers.
The Result
My personal work has given me great success and increased outreach that has led to taking on more and more clients. I’ve sold at vendor events, increased my social media presence by 7,000 followers over the course of a year, and garnered new friendships and connections. Often these personal projects are what clients show me as their point of reference and how they find me.
