Project Overview
Mini Trees
At the heels of Mini Trees’ new single release, they reached out to me to create cover art that captured the song’s emotion.
Challenge
Mini Trees’s new single would be a cover of Radiohead’s “Let Down,” so we wanted to marry the two bands together into one emotional album cover.
The Process
They had shown me examples of my own work that they enjoyed, notably pointing out the ink-stamp mixed media I used. I created different iterations until I found the result I and the team was looking for.
The Result
For Mini Trees' single 'Let Down,' I designed the cover art to reflect the emotional depth and aesthetic of the song. The artwork successfully captured the essence of the track, resonating with both the artist's existing fanbase and a wider audience. The visually striking design contributed to a noticeable increase in streaming numbers, with the single gaining more visibility across digital platforms. The cover art also played a role in generating buzz on social media, sparking conversations and leading to a significant increase in fan engagement, helping to elevate the release’s overall impact.
